March Madness in Alabama

The month of March brings warm spring air to the state of Alabama and along with it, it usually brings some pretty good fishing opportunities.
Expect to find fish moving into shallow waters on most lakes. In March fish can be caught on many different baits. Your best bets however are spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, and jerkbaits.

The lure of the month this month is the Rat-L-Trap. The lipless crankbait is a very productive bait in the spring. It can be fished fast in shallow enabling you to catch shallow suspended bass.
